Was about 200 feet south laying over a burn pit and an old mower. Older gentleman said he hadn't been in his back yard in 3 days and didn't even know it was there. Slipped him 10 bucks for letting us having a look.

This was a really cool find - located in soybeans right where it was expected to be. Elderly land owner and her daughter were keenly interested. After laying there for 8 days, I found it and went back to the house to show them. They took my picture and I gave them $10 for letting me walk the beans. Great experience!

Predicted spot was correct. This one fell so fast, it punched through the canopy and the sonde was about 6 inches off the ground and parachute and balloon about 8 feet up. Was able to cut the string and remove it from the branch it was hanging on. I spotted it from the walking trail along highway 75. Fun find! It was in great shape for hanging there for 3 days.
